A new generation of craftsmanship, built on a strong history
Some companies spend years building an excellent reputation, but fail to convey that same quality online. That was precisely the challenge Philco faced as it embarked on a new chapter.
For over thirty years, Philco has been known for High-quality bespoke work, comprehensive interior design and top-class joinery. The company undertakes both complete renovations and individual projects, such as kitchens, bathrooms and fitted wardrobes. Clients are supported from the initial ideas and designs right through to full completion.
Philco became a household name thanks to craftsmanship, precision and personalised support. However, Olivier’s full takeover marked the start of a new phase. His ambition went beyond simply continuing a successful business. He wanted to prepare Philco for the future and develop it into a modern, premium interior design partner which exudes the same tranquillity, sophistication and quality as the projects the company carries out.
That development called for more than just a new logo or a revamped website. Anyone looking for an interior design partner these days forms their first impression online. The visual identity, project images, website, social media and communication style all play a part in determining whether a potential client feels confident enough to arrange an initial consultation.
The challenge, therefore, was to to translate Philco’s established reputation into a contemporary image, without losing the character, authenticity and craftsmanship on which the company has been built for many years.
A strong interior design never starts with the choice of materials. It starts with listen.
That same philosophy formed the starting point for our collaboration. Before we began designing, we wanted to understand what Philco stands for today, which values absolutely had to be retained, and where Olivier wants to take the company.
Why do customers choose Philco? What do they expect from an interior design partner? And what impression should be created even before the first meeting?
It soon became clear that Philco offers much more than just bespoke interiors. Customers choose the peace of mind that comes with a single point of contact, a well-thought-out process and the assurance that every detail is carefully looked after.
That insight formed the basis of the entire marketing strategy. Based on a clear positioning We are continuing to develop our branding, website, content, social media, commercial growth and employer branding.
Our collaboration does not end with the delivery of individual applications. We remain closely involved, liaise regularly with Olivier and the team, and are always available to offer advice on communication, brand image, campaigns and new opportunities. In this way, we support Philco not as an external supplier, but as a long-term marketing partner who helps keep an eye on the bigger picture.
The rebranding marked the foundation of full cooperation and was a an intensive, strategic and long-term process. Philco already had a history stretching back more than thirty years, a strong reputation and a clear way of working. The challenge, therefore, was not simply to replace everything, but to carefully determine what should be retained and which elements were ready for renewal.
We began with a thorough analysis of Philco, Olivier’s ambitions, existing customers, the competition and the position the company aims to occupy in the future. During a series of meetings, we refined our understanding of Philco’s core identity. What does the company stand for today? Why do customers choose Philco? Which values must never be lost? And how do we translate craftsmanship, personalised support and quality into a contemporary identity?
Building on that strategic foundation, we developed our approach step by step a new positioning and visual identity. Various creative approaches were explored, discussed and refined until all elements were consistent both in terms of content and visually. That process required time and close collaboration, but ensured that the final Rebranding is not just a superficial change of style was. She sets off from the Philco’s true identity and at the same time supports the ambitions for the future.
The new appearance is luxurious, minimalist and natural, yet remains warm and inviting. Tranquillity, space and refinement form the basis. Soft shapes, natural colours and recurring rounded accents bring warmth to the overall design and complement the organic lines that are also found in high-quality interiors.
The positioning in terms of content was also refined. Philco is presented not only as a provider of bespoke solutions, but as an interior design partner that guides clients from design through to full completion. The peace of mind that comes from having a single point of contact, personalised support and the assurance that every detail is handled with care are at the heart of the story.
All the choices were set out in a comprehensive brandbook. In it, we brought together the logo, colour scheme, typography, photography, graphic elements, tone of voice, brand values and specific application guidelines. Today, the brand book serves as a guide for the website, social media, printed materials, clothing, presentations, quotations and future campaigns.
As a result, Philco now has not only a new logo, but also a a fully substantiated and practical identity which respects the existing reputation whilst creating scope for further growth.
A premium interior design firm deserves a digital presence that exudes the same quality, tranquillity and attention to detail as its projects. That is why we developed a completely new website that is not only visually striking, but also more robust in terms of content, technology and business.
The entire website structure was developed from the perspective of the potential customer. Visitors need to quickly understand what Philco does, what sort of projects they can turn to Philco for, and how a collaboration works.
We guide visitors step by step through Philco’s story. From the initial introduction and inspiration to our services, completed projects and personalised approach. This way, a potential client not only gains an overview of what Philco produces, but also an insight into the entire process from design to completion.
The web design translates the new identity into a calm, refined and user-friendly digital environment. We deliberately opted for ample white space, strong typography, subtle graphic accents and a clear visual hierarchy.
The website doesn’t need to impress with flashy effects. It should build trust and give Philco’s high-quality projects centre stage. Every detail, from navigation and buttons to project pages and forms, is in keeping with the premium positioning.
Striking images play a central role on the website. Professional photography showcases the materials, finish and cohesion of the completed interiors, whilst high-quality video content adds more movement and excitement.
Video makes it possible to showcase Philco’s premises, details, working methods and the people behind the company in much greater depth. This gives visitors a more realistic picture of the quality, atmosphere and support they can expect, even before their first meeting.
The content is not added merely for decorative purposes, but is used strategically to tell Philco’s story more effectively and to keep visitors engaged with its projects and services for longer.
All website content was completely rewritten in line with the new positioning. We avoided technical lists and generic sales jargon, opting instead for clear copy that explains what Philco does, how the company operates and the added value customers experience throughout the entire process.
The copy combines inspiration with clear information. In this way, it not only enhances the website’s appeal, but also helps visitors to assess more quickly whether Philco is the right fit for their project.
The website is optimised for relevant search queries relating to bespoke interiors, turnkey interior design, renovation, kitchens, bathrooms, built-in cupboards and joinery.
Through a well-thought-out website structure, clear services pages, project pages, internal links, metadata and content optimisation, we build sustainable organic visibility. In doing so, we do not write solely for search engines, but for people who are specifically looking for a high-quality interior design partner.
As well as traditional SEO, we take into account Generative Engine Optimisation. We organise information in such a way that even AI search environments to fully understand Philco’s expertise, services and approach.
Clear service descriptions, specific project information, frequently asked questions and consistent company details help to make Philco more recognisable and citable within new search environments such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini.
Behind the scenes, we have put in place a comprehensive tracking system. This enables us to analyse which pages are being visited, which projects are generating the most interest, and which channels are bringing in visitors and enquiries.
These insights form the basis for further optimising the website, content and campaigns. As a result, the website is not just a digital calling card, but a measurable marketing platform which actively contributes to Philco’s continued growth.
In the interior design sector, visuals are often the first thing to win people over.
That is why we invest heavily in content that brings Philco’s craftsmanship to life, both visually and tangibly. Professional photography not only captures finished interiors, but also showcases materials, details, the quality of the finish and the cohesion between the different spaces.
We do not limit ourselves to the end result. The content also highlights the sites, bespoke work in progress, choice of materials, technical solutions and the team behind the projects.
These visuals are complemented by graphic design that consistently maintains the same premium look and feel. Social media visuals, presentations, printed materials and other applications all align with the same visual identity.
This creates a recognisable line of communication in which image, content and design reinforce one another.
A rebranding only really delivers value when it is consistently applied in day-to-day operations.
That is why we also applied the new identity to various specific communication channels. We developed business cards with a QR code, so that contact details and digital information can be shared quickly and easily.
The email signatures have also been completely revamped. This ensures that every professional interaction is in keeping with the new brand identity, even when it is just a simple email exchange.
We designed T-shirts for the team in the new corporate identity. Not only do these ensure visibility on site and during meetings, but they also make the rebranding tangible within the organisation. The staff literally carry the new identity with them.
By applying the branding to both digital and physical media, the result is not a disjointed visual concept, but an identity that is evident in Philco’s day-to-day operations.
“A wolf is smart, sharp and loyal. It senses its surroundings perfectly and strikes at the right moment. At Rebel agency, we work the same way. When you belong to the wolf pack, you get a partner who is always by your side. Because once in the pack, always in the pack.”
O On Instagram and Facebook we are developing a content strategy that showcases Philco’s quality without resorting to a traditional project gallery. On Linkedin we address professionals in the same way.
Finished interiors remain important, but are complemented by choices of materials, bespoke finishes, site photographs, details and the various stages of a complete project.
We don’t just showcase what Philco achieves, but also how the company thinks and operates. By showcasing the design process, technical expertise and attention to detail, potential clients gain a more realistic picture of what working together entails.
Instagram is set to see a significant visual and inspiring role. We use the channel to share completed interiors, details, materials, before-and-after images, site updates and video content. Facebook supports this communication with projects, company updates, job vacancies and content that also reaches a wider and local audience.
We would also like to thank Olivier, the team and the skilled workers a familiar face on the work floor. This makes communication more personal and shows that behind every interior design project lies close collaboration and in-depth expertise take refuge.
Also employer branding is deliberately incorporated into our social media strategy. When Philco is recruiting new staff, we don’t just highlight which role is available, but also what it’s like to be part of the team.
Through authentic photography, video, site images and team content, we showcase the working environment, projects and quality standards. The emphasis is on craftsmanship, collaboration, responsibility and pride in the end result.
Job vacancies are translated into targeted content for Instagram and Facebook and can be promoted further to relevant profiles through performance campaigns.
The content is systematically structured around new projects, current sites, completed interiors, material choices, job vacancies and commercial priorities.
In this way, Instagram and Facebook are developing into fully-fledged channels that reflect a mix of inspiration, trust, employer branding and commercial interest.
Ultimately, a premium image must also contribute to commercial growth. That is why we use performance marketing to encourage people to reach who are actively considering a complete interior design, a renovation project, a bespoke solution or high-quality joinery.
The campaigns are aligned with the new positioning, both visually and in terms of content. Prospective customers are not directed to a general sales page, but to relevant projects, services and information that clearly explain how Philco operates and what standard of quality customers can expect.
By aligning our branding, website, content and adverts, we are building high-quality enquiries rather than non-committal clicks. We monitor which target audiences, projects and messages have the greatest potential and use those insights to further optimise campaigns, content and landing pages.
Also employer branding is taken into account within this pillar. When Philco is looking for new professionals, we develop campaigns that not only advertise a vacancy but also show what it’s like to work at Philco. Authentic recruitment imagery, team content and the company’s values help to to target profiles that meet the quality standards and a way of working together.
Via tracking and reporting We analyse website behaviour, campaign performance, enquiries and other relevant conversions. We look at which content generates interest, which projects convince visitors and where optimisation is needed.
Performance marketing is therefore not a standalone advertising channel. It forms an a quantifiable extension of the positioning, focused on commercial growth, high-quality lead generation and targeted recruitment.
Our role for Philco is not limited to carrying out pre-defined marketing tasks.
We work closely with Olivier and the team and remain available to answer questions, offer advice and discuss new ideas. Whenever decisions need to be made regarding communications, campaigns, job vacancies, printed materials, applications or other marketing matters, we actively contribute our input.
That short lines of communication ensure that new opportunities can be assessed quickly and that all decisions remain consistent with Philco’s positioning.
In this way, the marketing approach evolves in line with the day-to-day reality of the business, and the team has a trusted partner it can rely on for strategic and practical marketing advice.
The partnership laid a new and coherent foundation for Philco’s continued growth.
“Rebel Agency has not only revamped our image, but has also clearly defined what Philco stands for today and where we want to go. They’ve translated our history and craftsmanship into a modern identity that really suits us. From the brand book and the website to the business cards, clothing and day-to-day communications: everything now forms a cohesive whole. Even after completion, they remain accessible, contribute ideas and are always on hand to offer advice. That means they are not just an external supplier to us, but a true partner in Philco’s continued growth.”
